Connecting a USB device to an Android terminal via a USB OTG cable allows for immediate playback of 4K/HD movies stored on the USB device.

Supported USB Devices: Compatible with video cameras, USB memory, hard disks, etc.

This application enables playback of movies saved in both internal and USB storage.

• The use of MLUSB Mounter is required for this application.

Features

• 4K Movie File Compatibility:
  • Supports playback of XAVC S movie files from SONY 4K handy cams.
  • Compatible with 4K movie files from Panasonic 4K video cameras.
• USB Device Support:
  • MLFS supports various file systems including NTFS, exFAT, FAT32, FAT16, UDF, and ISO9660.
  • The application is optimized for playback. For high bit rate 4K movies that may drop frames, this app can ensure smoother playback.
  • Offers two playback modes:
    • Virtual Web Server Mode (default): Reads movie data via a virtual web server initiated by the MLUSB Mounter.
    • MLFS Direct Mode: Remounts with MLFS in the ML Media Player, allowing for direct reading from the USB device. This mode is recommended for resolving any frame drops experienced in Virtual Web Server Mode.
• Continuous Playback:
  • Enables continuous playback of multiple movie files, even across different titles stored on the USB device.
  • The playback order can be customized using the MLUSB Mounter's sorting options such as "Name (A to Z)" or "Date".
• User Interface:
  • The simple interface makes it easy to select files for playback through the MLUSB Mounter.
  • No advertisements are displayed during use of the MLUSB Mounter and ML Media Player.

How to Use:

Select "ML Media Player" in the "App selection" menu when choosing a target file (MP4/MTS extensions) with the MLUSB Mounter. Ensure you are using version 1.48 or later of MLUSB Mounter.

• XAVC S files shot with SONY 4K handy cams (MP4 extensions)
• 4K/HD movie files from Panasonic 4K video cameras (MP4 extensions)
• MP4 files (MP4 extensions)
• ACVHD files (MTS extensions)
• Various other video formats

Recommended Environment for 4K Video Playback:

• A smartphone chipset such as Snapdragon 820 or 835 is recommended for optimal performance with 4K movie files.
